  • The psychologist is responsible for assessing individuals' mental and emotional health through conducting interviews, tests, and observations.

  • The psychologist ensures confidentiality and privacy of client information is paramount in the practice of psychology.

  • Practicing aseptic techniques as necessary and complying with infectious waste disposal and universal precautions to prevent the spread of infection are essential.

Psychologist - REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree:
    Must have a PhD or PsyD.
  • Education:
    Graduate from a college or university accredited by the American Psychology Association with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.

  • Experience:
    Need at least one year of full-time experience in the last two years working with patients diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), meeting clinical competency requirements.
  • Internship/Residency:
    Successfully complete an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
  • Licensure:
    Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
