Summary:
This job function provides analytical support for determination of ligand binding to target protein using two-dimensional liquid chromatography coupled with high resolution mass spectrometry (2D-LC/MS). This analyst needs also engage with ligand binding confirmation using Native Mass Spectrometry approach.

Responsibilities:
- Work directly with senior scientist in day-to-day tasks.
- Conduct sample preparation and assist instrument analysis/troubleshooting.
- Assist running experiments and data acquisition.
- Assist data processing with instrument vendor's and in-house software.
- Capture data into e-notebook and assist data archiving.
- Help to maintain instrumentation and bioanalytical consumables inventory.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or relevant disciplines
- Knowledge of separation science and/or instrument analysis particularly in LC/MS
- Computer literacy, and competency with word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, etc.
- Fast learner of new skills and attention to details.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Training and experience in analytical lab with any of the following - HPLC, mass spectrometry, sample preparation/purification for either large or small molecules
- Demonstrated scientific knowledge (e.g. GPA) and/or skills to maintain high level of performance
skills: HPLC, MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL, MS-Powerpoint, Chemistry
